Position : Dispatcher

Job Description : ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive, review and enter orders from customers and Supreme Oil’s marketing department
Schedule orders to drivers and carriers to maximize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
Monitoring site inventories
Assess the next day’s resources and forecast potential problems. Re-arrange the schedules and drivers as needed to ensure proper coverage
Review and analyze previous day’s deliveries to ensure routes were adhered to and efficiency levels were met/exceeded and log and report emergency delivery details.
Update, maintain, contribute and create reports that are requested by supervisor
Be aware of market direction, supply allocations and price changes to make cost effective decisions

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A High School Diploma or GED required
Petroleum industry experience a plus but not required
Dispatch experience a plus but not required

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Must be proficient with Excel, Outlook, and the Internet
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Must be an extremely organized and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and time management
Must be able to friendly and highly motivated team player

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Required to sit for long periods of time.
Infrequent light physical effort required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work performed in an office environment.

Flexible

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $27.00 per hour
