Position : Dog Walker/Pet Sitter
Job Description : *MUST live within or near our service areas in the 610 loop: River Oaks, The Heights, Montrose, Bellaire, West University, Upper Kirby, Museum District and Midtown.
HDWC is currently seeking friendly, energetic, mature, reliable, self motivated animal lovers for dog walking and pet sitting positions!
This is an independent contractor position and pay is per walk/visit. We are looking for someone that has open availability from 8am-2pm to do 4-8 walks per day Monday-Friday and some weekends. Pet sitting consists of overnight stays, boarding and weekend/holiday visits.
We are a family here at HDWC and you will be way more than a dog walker/pet sitter. We have fun all day everyday and love our careers! This is more than a job, it is a lifestyle!
Requirements:
-Experience in walking dogs, pet sitting, shelter volunteer or similar.
-Flexibility to take on last minute services.
-Available to work a variety of hours including holidays and weekends.
-We want this person to be with our company for at least a year.
-You must own a car with insurance and able to transport dogs.
-We are insured and bonded, a background check will be conducted.
-Have a smart phone with unlimited texts and email.
-Prefer a college degree or in college.
-The ability to become pet CPR/First Aid Certified at your expense.
