Job Description : Job Responsibilities
【EHS】

Ensure adherence to all relevant legal rules and regulations;
Educate and oversee employees on health and safety procedures and regulations;
Monitor personnel and workspace;
Ensure the company is current on all relevant Health and Safety documents ;
Encourage and promote the use of safe work equipment, materials and supplies ;
Track the number of incidents and produce reports;
Monitor exposure to certain hazardous chemicals;
Report to Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) and other relevant organizations;
Ensure adherence to all relevant legal rules and regulations;
Practice safe working techniques and re-enforce the safety policies, guidelines, and procedures as set out by the Company;
Provide daily guidance and direction in EHS programs at the employee / supervisor level to ensure a consistent and effective approach;
Assisting in the identification of possible losses; evaluating risk in such loss exposure; developing and implementing a plan to correct or prevent a loss and auditing plan to ensure its effectiveness;
Ensure that contractor personnel working on the property are in compliance with safety policies and requirements;
Maintain and update as needed SOP’s for all safe work practices and equipment and utilize them in day to day training;
Perform and contribute to Site Training Plans by conducting employee orientations; emergency response training; and coordination of modular training programs for the Operation. ;
Ensure inspections by regulatory agencies are coordinated and deficiencies minimized and corrected;
Coordinate with president, Production, Equipment and Energy Department on facility deficiencies and monthly safety inspections ;
Maintain all logs and documentation associated with permits and regulatory requirements;
Assist with maintaining the Site Preparedness and Emergency Plans & Procedures;
Responsible for coordinating regulatory programs and their application; supporting the compliance process; supporting and providing relief for the environmental department;
Accountable for researching and writing permit applications, working with environmental groups and ensuring compliance with permit reporting requirements;
Reviewing accidents and incidents, conducting field audits and reporting and overseeing corrective actions;
Maintaining filing systems regarding worker training and safety;
Managing Team Base Risk Assessments and regularly conducting training needs analysis;

【Plant waste-water treatment】

Responsible for plant water and waste-water treatment;
Analysis, reporting and recording of water, chemical and biological waste-water systems;
Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing of treatment system equipment;
Cooperate with the company to achieve operational performance indicators;
Ensure company compliance with all OSHA regulations and HCTI policies, procedures, and rules;
Fulfill any other or temporary tasks assigned by company management;
Complete other work assigned by immediate superior;

Working Relationships
Report to: HR Manager
Internal Coordination department: All departments in the company;
External Coordination: TCEO, OSHA and external relationships related to the job responsibilities;

Fulfill tasks assigned by each department safely, efficiently and effectively;
Comply with all OSHA regulations and HCTI policies, procedures, and rules;

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities :

Ability to maintain company policy and TCEQ Permits, while continuing to pursue improvements and maintain process and systems;
Demonstrate good relationships with team members and customers;
Excellent problem resolution and communication skills;
Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
Team player and ability to build and maintain relationships, both internal and external;

Job qualification
Education
Required: Bachelor’s Degree or above in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required.
Work Experience
Required: Over five (5) EHS related experience in manufacturing environment.
Preferred: Ten (10) years of related experience.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
