Position : Employee Relations Assistant

Job Description : The Employee Relations Assistant assists with the administration of the day to day operations of the human resources functions and duties. Provides guidance and helps filter questions from managers and front line employees. The Employee Relations Assistant carries out responsibilities and provides back up support for the Employee Relations functional and administrative areas.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates preferred.
Three years Human Resources experience considered in lieu of Associate’s degree.
Previous office management/administrative secretarial experience or Human Resources experience required.
Excellent telephone skills required.
Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Excel
PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Location: Cook Children’s Health Care System · Tal Mgmt/Human Resources
Schedule: Full-Time, 1st Shift, 8-5
