Position : Engagement Director

Job Description : Santikos is seeking an enthusiastic Engagement Director to join our Learning & Development team. This position plays a key role in creating a FUN, engaging environment for our team members and guests as well as assist with all group training initiatives. We are looking for someone that can shine a light on Santikos’ mission throughout our theaters and maintain Culture accountability.
What would I be doing in this position?

Schedule and deliver all classroom trainings to include but not limited to New Hire Orientation, New Manager Certification Classes, Manager ServSafe, CPR/First Aid/AED. (You get to train pretty much everyone.)
Work with Santikos Casting Academy to consistently enhance new hire training and classes.
Create and maintain a high engagement level within the theaters by developing and executing new engagement initiatives. (How cool is that?!)
Assist in the training and development of new teams for new theater builds/acquisitions.
Play a leading role in the Theater Engagement Committee. (You get to work with others to make things fun!)
Be a resource for the theater management teams.
Perform other duties and assume various responsibilities as determined.

What education or experience do I need to have to qualify?

High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred
A minimum of 1 year in a training, education, or entertainment role
ARC CPR/First Aid Instructor preferred but not required
ServSafe Instructor Proctor certification preferred but not required

What skills, abilities, and knowledge do I need to be successful in this position?

Strong ability to work flexible schedule deadlines and be self-motivated
Strong FUN upbeat, outgoing, motivational, and charismatic personality
Ability to work in a team atmosphere with effective communication and leadership skills
Dedication to guest and employee engagement
Ability to stay energized in a classroom as well as keep the class energized and motivated to learn
Strong work ethic, organizational skills, attention to detail, and exceptional integrity and dependability
Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Demonstrated commitment to Santikos Core Values and vision
Flexible schedule and open availability; ability to work on holidays, weekends, and late nights
Previous training experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time (5+ hours)
Ability to travel to all company locations
