Job Description : Our Company is one of North America’s largest architectural glass & aluminum fabricators and distributors, with many locations nationwide. We are currently seeking an Envision Systems Manager located at our Phoenix, AZ facility. Our Company is continuing to grow at a tremendous rate, which presents a great opportunity for applicants to join our company and ultimately achieve their long-term career goals.
Position Summary:Directs and manages all plant operations with overall responsibilities for Production, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, Inventory and Cost Control, Logistics and other production-related activities.
Essential Job Functions:
· Supervises and coordinates activities of workers in the Envision Department
· Oversees and or conducts training of new or existing employees to include work methods and procedures
· Provides employees with timely and accurate feedback of performance reviews, disciplinary problems, material shortages, when required or appropriate.
· Interview, hires, and terminates employees as needed
· Responsible for retention, training and continued development of hourly employees
· Interfaces with team members on a daily basis, makes decisions concerning all aspects of Envision production and sales.
· Ensures on-time delivery, management of the flow of raw materials and control of inventory
· Communicates effectively and timely both verbally and in writing
· Responsible for ensuring time-sensitive project estimating and submitting quotes to customers
· Responsible for ensuring time-sensitive order processing and entry
· Responsible for adhering to product and customer specifications
· Maintains appropriate working relationships with internal and external customers
· Provides timely and accurate quote and sales reporting (Quotes, Quote Log, Etc.)
· Creates and maintains an environment that promotes safety and the safe operation of the entire process
· Continued assessment of cost reduction opportunities through the utilization of resources to remove process costs, improve efficiencies, and develop creative staffing strategies
· Maintains and improves high quality levels by ensuring that all work processes are performed correctly and accurately.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
