Job Description : Founded in 1983, Goodguys Rod & Custom Association is the world’s largest hot rodding association with over 70,000 active members worldwide. Goodguys currently produces 19 car shows per year in 15 major markets across the country ranging from two-day “Get-Together” affairs to three-day “National” events, each attracting 20,000 to 100,000 people with an annual attendance of over 2 million spectators and registered car enthusiasts. Goodguys also produces the award-winning monthly member magazine called the Goodguys Goodtimes Gazette and produces its own merchandise and apparel lines.
Summary
The Event Operations Manager, under the direction of the VP, Event Operations, will manage the planning, coordination and execution of the the day-to-day event operations functions and efforts which are essential to live events and special projects produced by Goodguy Enterprises, Inc. dba Goodguys Rod & Custom Association.
Major Responsibilities and Representative Tasks

Manager the implementation and execution of various live event operations initiatives.
Manage the pre-planning, load-in, event day coordination and load-out of live events.
Oversee the ordering of event supplies, contracting and coordination of event related services and vendors, scheduling of event staffing, event inventory ordering & management and post-event invoice and payment reconciliation.
Spearhead the process of identifying and contracting special attractions and exhibits for Goodguys live events and work in tandem with the marketing and media teams in an effort to sell more spectator tickets and increase vehicle registrations counts.
Review official company website(s) weekly to insure consistency
Develop and publish the “Weekend Happening’s” and registered participants schedules for each event
Work closely with the Goodguys Sponsorship & Sales and Marketing departments to assist with the fulfillment of sales and marketing initiatives at the live event level.
Assist with the implementation and execution of the Goodguys worldwide Membership program.
Assist with other event operations related projects as necessary.
Maintain and update various event operations related spreadsheets and databases.
Travel to and work 12-15 events throughout the country annually
Perform other tasks and projects as required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year

High school or equivalent (Preferred)
