Job Description : Associate /Executive Finance – Treasury – CBS
The opportunity
EY is looking for an Associate/Executive who can handle Treasury related activities. The resource will be capable of handling figures & good control over bank related functions, have experience of financial control, budgeting, preparation of cash flows. The individual is required to provide input or participate in various projects and will perform other duties as intreated. Strong inter-personal skills, teaming and should have the ability to stretch during crucial times.
Your key responsibilities
Creation of financial forecasts and derivation of respective plans.
Perform bank reconciliations – reconciliation of the bank statement against the books and reconciliation of any assigned clearing accounts.
Respond to audit inquiries in a timely manner; as required, make calls to the bank directly to clarify adjustments or to clarify items on the bank statements in order to reconcile activity. Liaise with auditors to confirm bank balances as of a certain date.
Knowledge of Bank guarantees, Inward/Outward remittances, account opening/closing, KYC handling, various loan documentation etc.
Administration of transactions, investments.
Preparation of regular reports about the financial processes.
Preparation of various MIS reports.
Ensure timely delivery of work and providing regular update to all stakeholders
Skills and Technical Qualifications
Good Accounting Knowledge.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Presentation Skills.
Good spreadsheet and database skills.
Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to handle complex issues under tight deadlines.
Good command over MS Office (Excel, Word & PPT’s
Ideally, you’ll also have
Good inter-personal skills, relationship-building.
Problem Solving, analytical abilities.
Be highly flexible, adaptable and a good team player
