Job Description : SUMMARY
Dircks Moving & Logistics is one of the fastest growing Moving, Transportation & Logistics providers in the Southwest. Our Hospitality Department provides Freight/Logistics, Warehousing and Installation services pertaining to the Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment utilized in Retail, Hotel, Student & Assisted Living facilities. Youll serve in a leadership capacity as a main point of contact among internal and external resources and key partners throughout project phases. Our Coordinators provide exceptional customer service to our Hospitality customers and will play an integral role in facilitating project execution from the warehousing phase through delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Communicates with customers on mandated days to make contact, advise of changes, delays, etc. in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
Work in conjunction with warehouse & onsite Project Managers to support administrative duties.
Prepares and forwards documents for shipment processing on each order.
Prepares reports for management review.
Prepares and maintains customers inventory reports in our system and sometimes the customers system as well.
Tracks the status of each customers shipment when applicable.
Communicates with salesperson, project manager, and dispatch, regarding problems and concerns with shipments.
Effectively uses both local and corporate computer systems in the processing of each project, including running of reports and analysis of data.
Attending and participating in regular meetings.
Provides quoting services on Special Products, 3rd party services.
Arranges 3rd party vendors upon request.
Works closely with warehouse staff at multiple facilities throughout Arizona.

QUALIFICATIONS

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office word processing software, as well as Cisco phone systems. MoversSuite knowledge is preferred, but not required.
