Position : Front and Back office Medical Assistant

Job Description : Multi physician oncology practice seeking a Medical assistant with front and back office experience capable of multi-tasking and providing compassionate patient care with a smile to add to our team. Must be able to perform in a busy environment, able to prioritize and re-prioritize as day progresses.
Responsibilities:

Rooms patients, accurately collect and records patients’ vital statistics, allergies, medications and concerns.
Prepares exam rooms, stocks and maintains supplies and equipment, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
Effectively assists with prescriptions and authorizing drug refill requests.
Triage messages, routes and relays information to staff, providers, and patients in a timely manner.
Perform venipuncture.
Give injections.
Assist in answering phones and scanning medical records.
Effectively performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Medical Assistant Certificate.
Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Professional attitude, able to work well in a team environment.
Good attendance/punctuality.
Strong computer skills.
Strong venipuncture skills.

Employees are required to be fully vaccinated and wear masks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour

8 hour shift
