Position : Full Time (rotating) Food Service Worker

Job Description : PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Performs routine duties related to the preparation and serving of food.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assembles food: Patient Trays, Individual Portions and Food Displays in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment. Stocks food and supplies.
Completes ware-washing/sanitizing dishes, glassware, silverware, utensils, pots and pans.
Cleans and sanitizes kitchen and service work areas, serving areas, and equipment and removes garbage, trash and grease from the department areas.
Provides excellent customer service to patients, guests, and staff at all times
Demonstrates good judgment and decision-making skills
Performs all job responsibilities safely using personal protective equipment
Complies with all department policies/procedures and service guarantees
Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be able to read, write and comprehend written assignments
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1-3 years of previous food service experience.
