Job Description : Position: Game Guide, Houston Galleria
Position Description: Through empathy and expertise, our Game Guides create epic experiences based on each guest’s individual needs and wants.
How Game Guides Serve Our Guests and Our Team:
Enthusiastically interacting with every single guest
Leading groups of 2-12 guests in upbeat, friendly conversation
Collecting information and making meaningful connections with our guests
Passionately explaining TEG and the rules of the adventure
Closely monitor experiences and use Game Guide software to give teams clues and hints
Giving a recap of memorable moments at the end of experiences
Occasionally hosting experiences remotely while upholding epic standards, may lead events with up to 300+ participants
Charismatically engaging virtual teams and enthusiastically explaining the structure of the virtual adventure
Efficiently troubleshooting tech problems as they occur
Demonstrating operational excellence by:
Ensuring game components function properly
Using setup sheets to accurately reset games
Cleaning games and the building
Restocking inventory
Completing necessary reports
Immediately and graciously resolving service failures
Job Requirements:
Must be great in front of groups and quick on their feet
Flexible availability. This role often works nights, weekends, and/or holidays. Weekly available hours will vary based on events booked.
Must have a computer with video call capabilities and a webcam

Starting Pay: $10.00 per hour (with ample opportunity for growth)
Position Details:Our store is open anywhere from 7am until 12am (or after) during normal operating hours. At TEG we adjust the shifts based on business needs. This is further explained in interviews.
Full Time (FT) for this position means: Hourly is 30 hours per week, most available hours are Thursday- Sunday. Nights, weekends and holidays are our most available times for hours for our FT team members. 4-5 shifts per week is normal for FT team members.
Part Time (PT) for this position means: Less than 30 hours per week.
