We are looking for motivated individuals who are interested in learning how to operate warehouse machinery such as a forklift to load and off-load various kinds of delivery trucks. We also will teach you how to receive and store product per Anheuser-Busch and Company Policy. When you join the team as an entry level Product Handler, we will teach you everything you need to know! Some of the things you will learn include:
Drives package and draught trucks to and from loading area as required and properly parks trucks in staging area.
Using forklift, loads per the Load Sheet, and of-loads package, draught and box trucks according to Anheuser-Busch and Company Code Date Policy and material handling procedure.
Using a forklift, off-loads trucks according to Anheuser-Busch and Company Code Date Policy and material handling procedure.
Stores received product in warehouse according to Anheuser-Busch and Company Code Date Policy and procedure.
Column stacks product by hand to maximize effective utilization of space on Route Trucks.
Hand stacks mixed pallets of product as required.
Repacks damaged product for resale.
Reports obvious vehicular mechanical/safety problems to supervisor and/or fleet Department.
Cleans truck bays by sweeping them out at least once a week or as needed.
And of course, Everything starts with Safety! Will help you learn how to maintain a clean, safe working environment at all times and how to adhere to the highest standards in safe working practices, Company policies, rules, regulations. And since Everything starts with Safety, we will show you how to correct obvious hazards immediately and/or report to your supervisor if not immediately correctable.
To help you get ready to move your career further, will teach/assign other job duties to help you grow!
A few requirements:
To make sure you are the right fit for the position, we do have a few criteria we need to make sure you meet. You must be authorized to work in the United States and to meet all the safety protocols, you must be able to read, write, and speak the English language. And because this is not a desk job, you must be able to do repetitive lifting of various packages and weights up to but not exceeding 75lbs or up to 200lbs or more with the help of a team member. And of course you must be able to handle alcohol and work within T.A.B.C guidelines.
Did we mention how this wasn’t a desk job? You must also be able to talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.) The shift can last anywhere from 8-10+ hours where you will be continuously standing and walking and also be lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling 20-161 lbs. But during this workout, the warehouse is temperature controlled so you won’t work up too much of a sweat!
