Job Description : We are seeking reliable and dependable General Laborers to perform general facility maintenance duties within a refinery or petrochemical facility. These duties include, but are not limited to: General clean up/trash pick-up and disposal; water distribution within the facility; unit clean-up and removal of waste; and cooling tower clean-up. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
Requirements:
Must possess a valid, active TWIC card
Must pass a strict background check
Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test
May be required to pass a respirator fit test (depending on the facility)
Must have reliable transportation
Must have lace-up, ankle high, steel-toed boots
Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
Walk up to 3 miles per day in the elements (excessive heat, cold, humidity, etc.)
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
Bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs – including climbing in pipe racks
Climbing stairs and/or ladders and work at high elevations at times (up to 300 ft.)
Kneeling, crawling, pushing and pulling
Walking around on uneven, slick, or rocky surfaces
Must be willing and able to work extended hours (up to 12 hour shifts, 7 days per week)
