Position : Golf Shop Assistant
Job Description : Starfire Golf Club, centrally located in Scottsdale, features an 18 hole Arnold Palmer Design championship golf course, 9 hole Short course full length driving range, clubhouse and restaurant.
Starfire Golf Club is currently seeking a Part-Time Golf Shop Assistant interested in offering a high end, exceptional experience for all of our guests.
Responsibilities include:
* Greet and welcome golfers in a friendly, professional and courteous manner
* Assist golfers with tee time reservations, both by phone and in person
* Check golfers in, sell merchandise and be knowledgeable and enforce all golf course policies
* Work closely and communicate with all Starfire staff members to ensure an excellent experience for guests
* Maintain a clean and organized Golf Shop
Qualified candidates should have the following:
* Prior customer service experience with emphasis on giving customers friendly, exceptional customer attention.
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment using logical and rational thinking to solve problems
* Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, comfortable with computers, high energy and friendly telephone skills.
* Must be self motivated, with high attention to detail, follow directions and be able to work independently with little supervision
* This position requires a flexible schedule including weekends
