Job Description : WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Global Services Delhi Graduate Program (GSDGP) is tailored to meet BCG’s growing business demands. We offer a wide range of business apprenticeships in a variety of disciplines and the GSDGP has been designed for candidates who are passionate about learning the workings of global cross-functional teams and delivering skills needed for BCG’s global services support functions.

This program offers incoming graduates the opportunity to work alongside a diverse global team thereby providing unparalleled learning and exposure early in their career. A GSDGP Associate is aligned to specific Business Units where they will develop the knowledge and hands on skills to support and become a skilled business professional working in roles such as: Finance, Marketing, IT, Human Resources, Business Services, Procurement. The Program is under the supervision of the Business Services Lead for the Global Services Asia Pacific region.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Global Business Intelligence and Analytics Services team is a centralized global financial reporting and analytics service team. This hub will greatly enhance how our management engages in information required to manage the business. This team is an integral part of the Global Finance organization, providing insights & analysis supported by meaningful and accurate financial information to help guide and influence the decision-making process. The team supports the leadership of our various business segments, senior finance management, local, regional & global finance colleagues across the organization.
As a member of this team, you will be working closely with the lead as a thought partner for one or more business areas with a focus on bringing insights to light through data analysis and visualization. You will be responsible for managing & delivering day to day standard /ad hoc responsibilities related to financial reporting and analytics needs, using relevant data tools, reporting environment and dashboards for BCG. Work towards finding opportunities to innovate, identify process improvements & efficiencies through advanced skills in digital reporting & analytics tools. Support in analytics transformation including profiling legacy reporting and providing next generation solutions that simplify the end-user experience while providing greater insights

YOU’RE GOOD AT

Finance/ Technical Skills
Good understanding of finance concepts, financial and non-financial metrics, and management/ financial reporting & analysis
Experience with visualization & analytics tools (such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) and basic proficiency in advanced excel, SQL language to access and profile data required
Familiarity with programming languages (such as R or Python) will be a plus
Problem solving and analytical tasks
Ability to structure hypothesis, build thoughtful analyses, develop underlying data models and bring clarity to previously undefined problems
Desire and flexibility to work through big data sets with keen attention to accuracy and interdependencies
Comfortable working with ambiguity, complex and in an iterative environment
Identify and support process improvement within the team or in cross functional initiatives
Communication, interpersonal and teaming skills
Ability to perform effectively under pressure and changing situations with tact, poise, and patience
Demonstrates persistence to drive change. Contributes to a positive and productive work environment
Works positively and collaboratively with others and within team; builds strong and lasting relationships

Work Management, organization, and planning
Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment
Strong Organizational and process management skills
Ability to contribute to multiple work streams at once and prioritize efforts accordingly.
Demonstrates good judgment and seeks assistance as appropriate in day-to-day operations
Familiarity or willingness to work on Agile methodology will be a plus

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics with strong interest in accounting concepts and reporting and analysis
Internship experience in similar role preferred
Excellent oral and written English language communication skills
Basic – Intermediate Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
