Job Description : As the leading Travel Management Company in the world, American Express GBT has deep partnerships with key travel suppliers around the globe, including airlines, hotels, car and rail companies . GBT Media partners with these suppliers to customize media solutions for them, to help them grow their business, promote key initiatives, and engage with GBT’s audiences across the globe . These media partnerships include promoting our suppliers across many different media channels, with GBT Media being a key revenue-generating department for Amex GBT. Within this role you will be working with the largest air, car and hotel companies globally in helping them execute their media plan with GBT.
The Media Operations Team help ensure the smooth running of the media operations and supports the Sales teams’ effort in reaching revenue targets by effectively managing and optimizing campaigns.
These campaigns would include marketing channels unique to the travel industry such as itineraries, online booking tools, and GDS marketing as well as e-mail marketing.
This role reports into the GSP Media Operations Team Lead and provides a key support to the Global Team to support Media Sales & drive revenues. We are looking for a positive, energetic person to join and grow the dynamic GBT Media team.
Purpose of the role:
The Media Operations Executive will work to ensure the implementation and delivery of media campaigns across multiple channels, while being highly efficient, and facilitating and developing revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities include technical implementation, management, maintenance, and monitoring of campaigns and be involved in campaigns right from the beginning planning stages, ensuring each campaign is accurately updated in our bespoke campaign management system. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment . We are also looking for a candidate with strong communication skills, as this role requires regular engagement with our suppliers globally
The successful candidate will have experience in campaign uploading, tracking, monitoring, reporting, optimization, and analysis, and will have great attention to detail. Time and workload management are also vital skills as priorities can change quickly.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling and maintaining advertising delivery for all advertising campaigns
Ensuring creative provided complies with requirements and SOP across all platforms
Optimizing campaigns based on KPI’s set to ensure full delivery & advertising return and make suggestions for campaign optimization
Ongoing campaign management: ensuring campaigns are implemented correctly, trafficking these and ensuring the correct campaign setups
Provide campaign analysis and reporting (including screenshots)
Monthly reconciliation of campaigns to ensure all revenue is accounted for
Assist with Media debt follow up
Professional Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
Experience and a solid understanding of the media industry
Strong analytical ability
High attention to detail
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Experience with third party ad servers
Self-motivated and productive
Good time management and ability to be flexible to changing objectives
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
