We control the entire process from start to finish, so we can ensure its exceptionally executed every single time—no cut corners, no easy-ways-out, no compromises, and no other-guys.The PositionWe are looking for a qualified candidate to fill our Harvester position. This candidate will be a self-motivated quick learner. The Harvester position is responsible for taking down, trimming, and bucking the plants as requested. This position is also responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized work space and for following all standards set by Lume. Cannabis Co. We are willing to train the right candidate that is hard working with a great demeanor. If you have limited experience growing but you want a foot in the door, this is the best way to prove yourself to our cultivation leadership team.Responsibilities· Trim and harvest plants in preparation for processing· Follow compliance guidelines and green waste requirements· Protects the quality of the product at all times· Recognize contamination-pests, seeds, dirt, mildew, etc-and escalate concerns to shift leader· Cleans grow room for next harvest, including lights, when requested· Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity· Must be able to adapt to various strains, styles and types of cannabis being trimmed, adjusting techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality· Ability to lift atleast 50 pounds· Ability to bend, stand, or sit for an extended period of time· Other duties as assignedRequirements· Must be 21 years of age· Must have reliable transportation· Strong communication skills· Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative· Mental clarity and ability to focus· Possess an eye for detail and efficiency· Ability to do intricate work that requires full use of both hands· No allergies to plants or to plant environments· A home garden of any kind is strictly prohibited-caregiver medical cards will need to be surrendered to the state· Have a basic understanding of the cannabis laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state· Cannabis growing experience preferred, not required· Ability to accept and quickly adapt to changes in procedures and workflowBenefit Conditions:Waiting period may applyOnly full-time employees eligibleWork RemotelyNoThis Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is:Dependable — more reliable than spontaneousPeople-oriented — enjoys interacting with people and working on group projectsAdaptable/flexible — enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in directionDetail-oriented — would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger pictureAutonomous/Independent — enjoys working with little directionJob Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shiftAbility to commute/relocate:Evart, MI 49631: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
