We are looking for a hands-on player/coach Help Desk Manager to replace a manager who was with the organization for over 10 years and moved on due to relocation. In order to be considered for this role, you must be able to roll up your sleeves on a daily basis and fill tickets along with your team – functional managers will not be a fit for this. Current team leads who are looking to take the leap into being a Support Manager are encouraged to apply!
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Mentor, coach, and train a team of 6-8 help desk professionals
Spend over 50% of your time working with customers to fill daily user tickets encompassing L1, L2, L3 using ServiceNow
The desk goes from 7am-7pm and there is 24×7 external support. You will be managing the schedules for the internal team and managing the relationship with the external team as well.
Create reports from ServiceNow and ensure that technicians are hitting their goals and utilizing the systems correctly.
Manage to KPI’s that you will create along with your direct manager

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent work experience. High School diploma or GED is a must have
5+ years of IT support experience providing daily user support with at least a year of team lead experience is required
Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft infrastructure stack such as MS Office 365 is required
Must have an outgoing personality and display a true enjoyment for working with end users as well as coaching and mentoring others
