Job Description : General Hardwood Company has been at its current Detroit location since 1932. We are a family owned and operated business currently on its third generation of ownership. General Hardwood Company is the largest hardwood moulding manufacturer and hardwood distribution yard in southeastern Michigan.We are looking to hire in a forklift driver and material handler. Responsibilities include Hi-Lo driving, loading/unloading semis, order picking, learning all the species of North American lumber and their characteristics. This position is primarily done outdoors year round.We are searching for reliable individual’s interested in finding a long term career. We emphasize, consistency, respect, and accountability.
