Position : Hospice Admissions Liaison
Job Description : Our organization is looking to hire a “Hospice Admissions Liaison” for our hospice agency in the San Diego Area. This individual will be responsible for developing new and expanding current relationships with patient referral sources, including community programs, hospitals and other institutional facilities. This candidate will need to be able to conduct market analysis of agency opportunities as well as develop strategic marketing plans with actionable tactics for increasing patient referrals. Understanding the local healthcare market and insurance payers will be a very important part of this role.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage a portfolio of patient referral sources
Create relationships with hospitals and physician offices
Maintain and expand positive relationships with current/potentially new referral or payer connections
Maintain deep knowledge of hospice and CMS regulations for hospice
Building local ground and digital campaigns for outreach
Be the positive “face” of our organization to the public, including patient families, case managers, physician offices, and discharge planners.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, familiarity with medical terminology
Knowledge of Medicare and/or VA processes
Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
Ability to conduct aggressive marketing tactics on ground and digitally
Experience with Office 365 applications and maintaining CRM system
Willingness to do what it takes to help the patient and family now
Presentation skills to hospital staff or potential partners
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
