Tool Room and Die Shop

Production Engineering

Diploma (Tool and Die / Mechanical)

Level:
JE/ER/SE

Job Responsibilities:
1. Coordination on all machines for EDM machining operations.

2. Able to work in shifts as per requirement (A, B & C shifts).

3. Manpower handling at shop floor (operator level).

4. Jobs execution as per machine planning.

5. Monitoring machining time and optimization of EDM operation.

6. Coordination with graphite manufacturing as well as fitting team.

7. Target vs. Actual machining Hours analysis with die machining hours reduction.

8. Machining efficiency improvement.

Competencies / Skills:
1. Preferably has work experience of HPDC dies and Injection Mold Manufacturing in automobile industries.

2. Complete knowledge of EDM machines like Makino, Sodick etc.

3. Able to operate EDM machines on his own.

4. Knowledge of graphite electrode designing.

5. Good communication, supervision skills & should be a team player.

6. Knowledge of softwares for CAM programming and electrode designing (UG NX & Autodesk Power mill) shall be given added advantage.

7. Knowledge of CNC VMC machine’s operation for graphite electrode machining shall be given added advantage.
