Job Description : Human Resources Assistant (part-time)
The Old Globe seeks a part-time Human Resources Assistant for this renowned theatre in San Diego’s beautiful Balboa Park. Supporting the Director of Human Resources and the Human Resources Generalist, the HR Assistant will perform a variety of administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the HR function, including assisting with recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, workers’ compensation administration, and employee file management tasks.
Preferred candidates will have at least one year of experience in HR, with not-for-profit and/or theatre HR experience a plus. Familiarity with HR Software (ADP a plus) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferred. Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and very strong computer, administrative, organizational, and writing skills. Hourly rate is $22 per hour.
