Job Description : DFW Security is a local, independently-owned, residential and commercial security company headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. We are looking to add a motivated Human Resources Generalist (HRG) to our team. The HRG will act as the face of the company and works directly with everyone in the organization. The HRG leads and directs the routine functions of the Human Resources department including employee onboarding, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices, and handles insurance and 401k.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Recruiting & Hiring – Support the Hiring Manager in reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, checking references, and tracking the candidate’s status in the hiring process.
* Employee Onboarding – scheduling employee start dates, collecting required paperwork and documents from employees, new hire setup.
* Benefits administration – Track enrollment dates, assist with research, answer employee questions, correspond with providers
* Payroll – processing, compensation adjustments, payroll system maintenance, compliance reporting/audits
*Employee Maintenance – personnel files, management and tracking of performance reviews, PTO, injury reports, and other company policies
* Maintains company standards by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures via Employee Guidelines
*Maintains licensing requirements for state licensing including form submission, renewals, terminations, yearly company renewal and continuing education
* Provide support and guidance to management. Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. May be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
* Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
* Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
* Other duties as assigned.

* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, but not required.
* A minimum of one to three years of human resources experience required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
