Job Description : Tasco Auto Color is your full-service Automotive Paint, Supplies, and Equipment supplier. For over 60 years Tasco Auto Color has been setting the standard for distribution of refinish coatings to the auto body repair industry. We are looking for a knowledgeable HR / Payroll Associate to process and manage the company’s payroll as well as handle day-to-day administrative duties with accuracy and efficiency. Qualified individuals will be good with numbers and can be trusted with sensitive information. They will have great communication skills to interact with all levels of employees. The primary goal is to ensure personnel receives the correct compensation in a timely manner.
Duties:

Manage and process weekly payroll with third-party payroll provider (Payday)
Investigate & resolve discrepancies in timesheet/payroll records
Initiate background checks, drug screenings, I-9s, etc.
Onboard all new employees
Keep employee files updated, including PTO, terminations, & unemployment benefits
Serve as subject matter expert on all benefits related inquiries as well as serve as lead during open enrollment
Ensure the company is in compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws
Communicate with Accounting Dept., regarding weekly and monthly payroll related reports
Other duties as assigned

Skills:

Strong organizational and time management skills
Great customer service
Exceptional communication (both verbal & written)
Ability to maintain confidential information at all times
Experience with Microsoft Office (primarily Word & Excel)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
