Position : Hygiene Coordinator

Job Description : We are an established periodontal and implant surgery practice seeking an outgoing, and professional hygiene coordinator. The position is full time, Tuesday through Friday and occasional Mondays.
We provide high-quality care for our patients with an emphasis on excellent customer service.
Applicant must be professional, reliable, dependable, compassionate, organized, self-motivated, and have prior dental experience preferably in periodontics or oral surgery. Applicant must be a team player with a positive attitude, have a strong ability to multi-task, learn quickly, and work in a fast paced environment.
Applicant must have communication and computer skills and should have some knowledge in Microsoft word, excel, use of email and email attachments including JPEG, PDF, DOC, XL.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: answering phones, scheduling appointments, coordinating care with referring dental offices, checking in patients upon arrival, reviewing treatment costs and financial policy, collecting payments, scheduling patients for treatment, following up with patients about recommended treatment, and maintaining a productive hygiene schedule.
