Job Description : Job Description – Ice Box Attendant
Purpose of the Position:
The purpose of the position of Ice Box Attendant is to re-stock the mini refrigerators and other products for sale and complimentary in the guestrooms in hotel performing any combination of the following duties.
Primary Responsibilities:
Duties are as follows but not limited to:
Re-stocks and cleans the mini-refrigerators called ‘Ice Box’, snack shelves and Margarita Service Tray in the guestrooms according to standard set up.
Verifies that all products for sale and complimentary as part of the Ice Box and snack shelves are sealed and have not expired.
Places, replenishes and keeps track of special items requested by the guests in the guestrooms during their stay to be properly charged.
Delivers the Ice Box charges to the Front Desk to charge to the rooms.
Keeps inventory of all products to submit order to restock par in storage area.
Keeps track of all damaged and expired products.
Turns in the daily Ice Box reports to the Director of Housekeeping.
Conducts monthly product inventory.
Receives and stores product deliveries.
Ensures storeroom is properly cleaned and maintained.
Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
Abides by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals.
Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
Takes the initiative to greet guests and fellow Associates in a friendly and warm manner.
Performs other related duties as required.
Job Requirements:
Position requires effective communication with guests and co-workers.
Ability to present and conduct oneself professionally and emulates the Hotel Emma Culture.
Six months related experience as a hotel Room Attendant.
Flexible schedule required, to include AM/PM, weekends and holidays.
