Position : Ice Cream Barista
Job Description : Baskin Robbins in National City, CA is looking for one ice cream barista to join our team. We are located on 1409 E Plaza Blvd, National City, CA 91950.
We are looking for a candidate for a closing shift from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Store hours are from 10:30 am to 10:00 pm 7 days a week. We offer flexible days if you have another job or are attending school.
Position is PART-TIME SEASONAL and hours vary depending on the season with more hours available during the summer. Position is part-time until October 31st, 2022, a permanent position may be available depending on work availability and staff availability.
Responsibilities
*Prepare milkshakes, smoothies, sundaes, etc. in accordance with customer needs *Maintain a clean and tidy work area *Follow health and safety guidelines Interact with customers regularly and professionally
Qualifications
*High integrity with a great attendance record *Strong attention to detail *Ability to listen and communicate effectively *Must be 18 years of age or older *Must be able to work most weekends
NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED. The ideal candidate should be able to come to work on time and is willing to learn.
Brownie points for previous work experience at an ice cream shop and being able to speak either Spanish or Tagalog.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $14.00/hour.

Our location in National City, California is home to 40 different ice cream flavors. In addition to serving ice cream scoops, delicious sundaes, and refreshing milkshakes, we also specialize in custom ice cream cakes. The ideal candidate for our location has a great voice, quick learner and can multitask. Some of the duties you will learn are scooping ice cream, creating sundaes, milkshakes and other types of drinks. You will also learn how to take cake orders and write on cakes.
