Position : Image Review Clerk
Job Description : * This is NOT a Remote / Work from Home role – location is Houston, TX *
An Image Review Clerk is required to properly identify the license plate number, state code, plate type, vehicle type and any plate number prefix and suffixes (as applicable based on business rules). The Image Review Clerk will use TransCore provided training guides and other material to identify various state plates from all 50 U.S. states.
A fully trained Image Review Clerk is able to identify a minimum of 600 image sets per hour, while maintaining established standards of the accuracy of human review. In the event an image set needs to be rejected because it is unreadable, it is necessary to follow the business rules reject disposition reasons based on applicable business rules. Image Review Clerks may be requested to assist as audit reviewers to verify the accuracy of previously reviewed image sets. Based on workflow requirements, an Image Review Clerk may be required to verify the image and data entered from prior image review process, while also verifying information returned from the DMV lookup matches the vehicle in the image to description of the vehicle returned from the DMV lookup including but not limited to the license plate number and state code.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Correctly identify all project state plates that may include prefix or suffix or plate types Correctly identify all other state license plates
Reject unidentifiable license plates using the correct disposition reasons
After training and learning period, identify a minimum of 600 image sets per hour
Monitor image quality and application performance for potential problems
Other duties as requested by the Image Review Supervisor and/or Operations Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
Proven attention to detail
8,500 data entry keystrokes per hour
Typing speed of 35+ words per minute
MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) – basic level Adherence to work schedule
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Additional Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum pay rate of $13.00/hour 30 day no absence policy upon hire’
