Position : Information Technology Technician
Job Description : The Information Technology Technician will support the emergency operations and administration personnel of the department to deliver the highest level of emergency services possible to the general public.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities:
The following duties are not inclusive of all responsibilities, and the incumbent may perform other duties as assigned by the Fire Chief.
Set up and maintain workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
Install and configure appropriate software and hardware to function according to specifications.
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without disrupting operations.
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems.
Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintain schedule.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
