Memorial MRI and Diagnostic has led the way is providing comprehensive diagnostic imaging and treatment services using advanced technology and state of the art equipment. Our physicians, management, technologist, and support staff make up our premier practice. We are responsible for facilitating the needs of physicians and healthcare providers to ensure that every patient receives the highest degree of care and compassion.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work incoming referral for approval in a timely manner
Preauthorization for required modalities
Check and verify demographics and eligibility
Send out provider notification- approval and or denials
Verify all insurance mailing address, and CPT codes
Confirm approved diagnosis
Convert ICD9 to ICD-10 if necessary
Send approvals to scheduling department
Call patient and make them aware of benefits
Familiar with deductible and co-insurance
Able to review calculate fee schedule for
Requirements
We are looking for dependable and professional candidates with at least 5+ years of recent insurance verification (diagnostic) experience, computer skills, and a High School Diploma. Applicants will also need the ability to multi task, possess EXCELLENT customer service skills, display great communication skills, and provide a strong attention to detail with the ability to exhibit empathy towards patients and referring physicians.
