Our firm is looking for a smart, high-energy and confident professional to become an Operations Specialist at our Fort Worth location. This important team member provides support to our capital markets team in trading, new accounts, and back-office operations. In this role, you will work directly with our traders in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
The primary goal of our Operations Specialist is to process new business, analyze various information and improve quality control in order to deliver a very high level of client service, minimizing errors while maximizing efficiency. This individual will be an integral part of our team and has the opportunity to gain valuable industry experience in the areas of trading, back office operations, and financial reporting. A successful Operations Specialist will be well positioned to take advantage of advancement opportunities in a variety of paths within our growing, boutique wealth management firm, including securities trading, back office management, and financial planning.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Capital markets and trading support
Provide support to all back office transactions on all lines of business, including asset management, financial planning, and supporting business retirement plans.
Strict compliance with all regulatory requirements and securities related deadlines
Produce a variety of investment/operational reports on regular or ad-hoc basis.
Attending or participating in client/business events
Building important institutional relationships
Preparation of client documents, creating and maintaining files, including quality control
Maintaining organizational lists including data entry
Provide outstanding service to investment clients via phone and in person
Performs other related work as required

Requirements:

2 years relevant work experience/internship or commensurate academic coursework required
Four-year degree from an accredited university (classroom instruction required)
Availability for occasional travel
Ability to respond to work schedule changes with very short notice

Proficient working with all MS Office applications, with a focus on MS Word & Excel
