Job Description : Seeking an IT Support Specialist to support a leading research facility in San Antonio. This company focuses on research in multiple industries such as: automotive, biomedical, chemistry, defense, space, electronics, energy, and manufacturing.
Summary

Setup new computers/reload existing computers in accordance with established procedures.
Document work performed with ticket system.
Provide Tier/Level 1 support (resolving username and password problems, uninstalling/reinstalling basic software applications, verification of proper hardware and software set up, and assistance with navigating around application menus)

Requirements

HS Diploma/Equivalent
2-3 years IT support Experience or formal IT education
Must be able to communicate verbally, in person and on phone, and written via email and other electronic systems.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
Schedule:

8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

San Antonio, TX 78216: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

IT support: 2 years (Required)

Work Location: One location
