Position : IT Support Specialist-Onsite
Job Description : We are looking for a customer service oriented IT Support Specialist to provide technical support to users in an efficient and accurate manner. You will be considered as the firm’s front liner and you will solve basic technical problems and provide support for all assigned areas. The goal is to make sure that customer value is maintained to the standards set forth by the company.
***PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION WILL BE ON-SITE 5 DAYS A WEEK AT THE PHILADELPHIA NAVY YARD***
Responsibilities
Interface with internal business employees and the IT team to image, troubleshoot, configure, deploy, test, and document end user computing equipment.
Extremely accurate and detail oriented
A customer oriented approach is a must!
Document and organize the migration / update of software applications, computer hardware, and peripheral equipment on the LAN, coordinating campaigns with internal resources or third parties when necessary Provision supplies and software needed machines being migrated Monitor and evaluate efficiency of software/hardware migration, providing feedback to users and department peers;
Making suggestions for improvement Monitor and report licenses on applications to ensure compliance when necessary Monitor and maintain asset inventory tracking, coordinate equipment replacement
Perform other related duties as required Candidate skills & requirements Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Active Directory
Strong customer service and communication skills
Team oriented, teamwork skills
Preferably someone who worked in a call center type atmosphere before
Ability to think on their feet, problem solving/troubleshooting skills
Skills
Proven working experience in providing help desk support
Proficiency in English
Working knowledge of help desk software, databases and remote control
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
Customer service orientation
BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
Philadelphia, PA 19112: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
