Job Description : This is a full-time technical support position assisting clients and end-users with computer-related day to day issues. We are a local Managed Services Provider.
Most importantly, we need someone who is great at documentation and processes. If you don’t love documentation and processes, don’t apply. Also, we recently upgraded to Halo as our PSA, so experience with that is a plus, but experience with any PSA is valuable.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who loves problem solving and has incredible attention to detail. We will pay for all certification exams and offer a flexible schedule around any classes you might be taking.
This position will be handling tickets from clients and servicing clients during weekly client visits in the Greater Houston Area. Candidates must possess reliable transportation. They can expect a casual work environment as we are home-based, but on-site maintain a professional appearance.
This person will spend about 60% of their time working in the ticket system solving issues, doing proactive maintenance, monitoring, and handling and configuring new installations and assisting Senior Engineers with designing and implementing new solutions.
The other 40% of your time will be spent onsite fixing client issues, buying/dropping off equipment, and working alongside Senior Administrators on new client projects and solutions. This is great exposure to Server Administration and Managed Services. Ideal candidates will possess 1+ years of Desktop Support experience.

Active Directory
Hardware/Software installation and upgrades
Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Teams
Cloud Services
Enterprise Mobility + Security
Identity Management
Enterprise Servers
Virtualization
Knowledge/experience with Windows Server Operating Systems, with an understanding of security permissions for Active Directory
Experience with VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V virtual infrastructure administration and management
