Position : Job Counselor – $18hr

Job Description : We are looking for an empathetic career counselor to aid our clients with deciphering and selecting their preferred career trajectories.
The career counselor will be required to uncover clients’ prominent and latent strengths, administer and score aptitude measures, and then confer with clients to deliberate findings obtained.
Career Counselor Responsibilities:

Inspecting clients’ career-related aspirations, concerns, and uncertainties throughout the consultation process.
Reviewing clients’ personal and educational undertakings and how the manifestation of these might inform their prospective job-related choices.
Guiding clients through the completion of aptitude, personality, and adjacent tests.
Scoring clients’ responses to pertinent items and conferring with them about the results of these.

Skills

Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
Basic understanding of databases
Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
Great attention to detail
High school degree or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $18.50 per hour
Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday

Work Location: One location
