WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Sorrento Therapeutics (“Sorrento”) is seeking an experienced Laboratory Assistant to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Laboratory Assistant will perform data entry and laboratory specimen processing; organize and process orders and customer service. Verify working materials inventory, including expiration dates, and demonstrate ability to evaluate consumable levels to prevent shortages and expired supplies. Communicate any ordering necessities to personnel in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accession samples
Enter data into computer system.
Aliquot samples
Process results
Order supplies
Help maintain inventory management and equipment maintenance.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous work experience in a regulated/fast-paced environment
Accurate and efficient data entry skills required.
Proficient computer skills required.
Bachelor’s degree in sciences preferred.
