Job Description : ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist the with job preparation for set-up through completion, as assigned. This includes non-technical tasks such as labor, cleaning and close-out.
Assigned to perform duties in the following areas (but not limited to): air conditioning, painting, carpentry, electrical, plant operations and plumbing
Perform work within mechanical rooms/spaces to ensure inspection readiness (cleaning, sweeping lamping, etc.)
Assist with scheduled rounds of building areas and inspect all lighting fixtures to assure proper function.
Assists with replacement of unserviceable lamps as required.
Assist shops with parts availability and readiness.
Installation and removal of temporary posters and marketing items
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or lead.
Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the University.
Shovel snow is mandatory as assigned including off-time for assigned days of work. (Refer to emergency attendance policy for emergencies)
Maintain good records as required including mobile device and computer systems and CMMS (TMA).
Observe sanitation, safety and housekeeping regulations.
Cooperates in department’s work improvement efforts.
Practices excellent customer service.

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION:
None

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
One year preferred.
