Job Description : 2+ years’ experience Gurugram, Noida, Meerut (Uttar Pradesh) India, Work from home (full time)

Advaita is looking for a language editor and proofreader who is well accustomed with handling scientific documents. The candidate is expected to have a fair knowledge of terminologies related to Biotechnology. You will be tasked with editing scientific articles along with checking them for factual correctness, proper formatting and sentence structure.
Our ideal candidate is well presented, excellent in written and verbal communication, organized, and keeps pace with fast paced working environment.

Responsibilities:
Check for and correct any typographical, grammatical and spelling mistakes in the document.Check for any factual flaw in the document.Format the document according to the journal’s guidelines.Ensure your finalized project is perfect in structure and free of errors whatsoever.Maintain a stylesheet for every project.Follow specific style guides depending on the type of the document.Support the team and show a positive attitude if asked to work on a different subject.Complete the project adhering to the TAT (Turnaround time).Work in a team maintaining a positive in healthy environment.

Requirements:
2+ years of experience in Editing and Proofreading.Graduation in Biotechnology/ Botany/ Zoology/ Life sciences or anyother relevant area.Fluent in English with superior written and verbal communication skills.Excellent grammar and vocabulary.Familiar with using style guides and style sheets.Proficiency in MS office.
