Pay Rate: $26-$28/hour

Position Overview:
JFS is looking for a compassionate, mission-driven individual to join the Learning & Development team as the Learning & Engagement Specialist. In this role, you have the opportunity to use your instructional design and facilitation skills and create learning opportunities for staff, volunteers, and interns to support staff in make a meaningful difference across San Diego. The Learning & Engagement Specialist plays an integral role on the team and supports the entire agency by designing and dreaming up ways to strengthen our culture of learning. This position reports directly to the Director of Learning & Development and works closely with the People & Culture Team.
Responsibilities:

Design and facilitate staff learning (virtual workshops, in-person workshops)
Collaborate with partner organizations on providing learning opportunities for staff, volunteers, and interns
Provides support and coordination for staff-led technical training (e.g., Raiser?s Edge, Technology, etc.)
Facilitate staff and intern orientations
Ensure mandatory trainings are accessible and works with managers and supervisors to assign learnings
Promotes learning opportunities through Agency newsletter, intranet, and outreach to staff, volunteers, and interns
Coordinates staff engagement opportunities (such as Lunch bunch, staff led workshops/opportunities, Fun Squad, Wellness Team, etc.)
Primary Lead for learning management system (managing user data, adding content, courses, coordinating pre-work for workshops, logging attendance, etc.)
Tracks completions of compliance training by staff and volunteers; follows up with staff and managers as necessary
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
