Position : Loan Servicing Specialist

Job Description : A Loan Servicing Specialist will focus on all asset management aspects of existing portfolio loans. They must demonstrate an excellent client service attitude and be detail-oriented. The firm boasts a strong team environment with an open-door policy and plenty of cooperation, but a successful candidate must have the ability to work independently and manage their time efficiently. The Loan Servicing Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking. Well-developed organizational skills are key. Firm management provides extensive, personalized training to every Loan Servicing Specialist to maximize their potential for success.
Specifically, the Specialist will receive training to:

Process monthly loan P&I, tax and insurance escrow payments in REALSynergy Software.
Process and maintain real-property tax escrow accounts, property insurance escrow accounts, and all post loan closing reserve/holdback accounts.
Work with (Frost) banking software to assist in cash-management activities associated with both property-level and lender-level transaction & payment accounts.
Interact with both Borrower customers and Lender representatives to complete routine loan maintenance activity including lease approvals, performance questions, and more.
Work to gather and analyze financial reporting data on individual loans for your entire portfolio.
Perform data entry, analysis, and financial reporting of monthly, quarterly and annual loan performance information.
Review and assess compliance of existing collateral insurance policies and their respective renewals.
Maintain internal records and bookkeeping associated with each loan within the portfolio.
Process limited bank account reconciliation.
Perform general inspections on collateral properties a few times each year (limited travel required).

Prior experience in the commercial real estate loan servicing industry is not required. A strong work history and commitment to your job are the most important requirements. The Firm endeavors to retain employees for the long-run and boasts many employees with 10+ and even 20+ tenures. The Firm pays 75% of the health insurance premium and funds an additional 20% extra compensation into a SEP retirement account for employees with several years of tenure and longer. A generous three week PTO package is standard. While our employees are set-up to work from home, the Firm is focused on candidates that seek to work in the office.
This is a salaried position and pay will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
