*About This Opportunity*As a logistics coordinator, you’ll be responsible for facilitating domestic shipments to and from our headquarters. You’ll be handling and receiving goods from the warehouse to our production floor. Conducting quality checks, receiving merchandise, tracking orders and filing claims. You will also be trained on the international shipping regulations, also known as trade compliance. The laws we enforce are regulated by dozens of U.S Federal agencies, this makes a career in trade compliance fulfilling; yet challenging. Trade compliance can make or break any company that does international shipping. There are so many rules to follow and things that can go wrong if they are not handled accordingly.

*What does a Logistics Coordinator do, anyway?*

Understand, support, and execute all work in a safe manner and contribute to a culture that promotes safety as its overriding priority
Conduct all receiving functions; initial and in-process quality inspections, ERP transactions, and material movement
Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area in line with 5S principles
Scheduling LTL pick up’s & deliveries; follow up with carriers to meet deadlines and tracking orders
Transfer material in warehouse and conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
Prepare and generate shipping labels and export documents
Load and unload trucks
Filing, tracking and closing out shipping claims
*If this sounds like you, your previous education, work experience, and passions probably sound like this:
Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
Must be detail oriented
Minimum 1-2 years logistics experience
Minimum 1-2 years warehouse experience
Must have basic math abilities, measure accurately, and count accurately
Ability to comprehend written instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
Ability to multitask with changing priorities.
Ability to bend, twist, lift and stand up to 8 hours a day. Ability to repeatedly lift up to 40lbs

Successfully building a rapport with internal and external customers
Ability to adapt and execute under stress in order to accomplish your objectives.
Coordinating with multiple teams (sales, production, and legal) to make sure shipments arrive on time in perfect compliance with laws and regulations
100% of shipments are 100% compliant with all trade laws and regulations
Any non-compliance events are quickly identified, logged, self-reported and fixed
Able to coordinate all aspects of domestic logistics (outbound shipments, inbound shipments, insurance claims)
Catch 100% of discrepancies before shipments leave our headquarters
