Position : Manufacturing Technician

Job Description : Manufacturing Technicians perform and oversee all tasks including inspection of incoming parts, parts assembly, component traceability, quality checks and testing, and packaging in compliance with applicable government regulations.
Responsibilities:

Moving Boxes – Moving completed boxes using pallet jacks or helping guide forklift
Typing – Input of work orders and regulatory data for labels and tracking
Labelling/Scanning – Recording parts labels to the correct production order for parts traceability
Packing boxes –loading finished products correctly into the boxes
Verifying and updating explosive magazines logs as per regulatory standards
Assembly tasks – Assembly of mechanical components to correct specification
Labelling/Scanning – Scanning and labelling components for traceability
Cleaning – Maintaining and cleaning workstations
Explosives handling – arming perforating guns with the correct type and number of charge
Visual inspection – Visual inspection of incoming and assembled components to check for defects or incorrect assembly
Troubleshoot automated production lines that include conveyors, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, instrumentation.
Software and robotic issues that cannot be resolved by a maintenance technician and resolves the issues at the root cause
Aid engineers run the equipment and production lines when new systems or code is being rolled out
As part of this the technician will take on activities such as running the bays and packaging the produced goods
Collect, organize and prepare short reports on data from tests, including analysis and conclusions.
Work with engineers and technicians on the set up, performance and data reporting for non-routine and complex tests.
Prepare and plot pump and motor performance curves from tests and analytical data
Prepare test and fabrication requests as required in support of various project
Assist in construction or disassembly of laboratory test units or field test prototypes, including processing necessary manufacturing and purchasing paperwork.
Maintain an engineering notebook of all significant activity.

Requirements:

High school Diploma or equivalent
1 year of relevant work experience

Pay: $17.00 – $30.00 per hour

Automation: 1 year (Preferred)
PLC: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Driver’s License (Required)
