Job Description : Moffatt & Nichol is actively looking for a Communications Coordinator to join our marketing team in any of the above offices. The Communications Coordinator supports marketing campaigns and activities with a primary focus on marketing communications corporate collateral such as project descriptions, resumes, website content, social media campaigns, and collateral database updates all focused on expanding the company brand, soliciting new business, and maintaining existing business.

We provide practical solutions to clients in the marine terminal, transportation, energy, environmental, federal, and urban development markets around the world. We are a multidiscipline professional services firm with specialized expertise in structural, coastal, and civil engineering; environmental sciences; economics analysis; inspection and rehabilitation; and program management solutions.

Duties and responsibilities:

Assist in the management and maintenance of the firm’s CRM tool, Deltek Vantagepoint
Assist in the management and maintenance of the firm’s digital asset management tool
Help maintain the firm’s intranet platform in relation to marketing materials
Support internal clients in the preparation of proposals and presentations, providing firm and employee statistical data
Run recurring marketing reports and performing validations to assure data is accurate
Design and develop queries for reporting and special projects
Ensure data integrity, review information gathering processes, verify integrity of data, and customize data extracts to meet information needs
Assist in the development of materials, proposals, qualifications statements, and other communications documents, at the direction of a senior member of the marketing staff
Assist in the marketing material close-out process, following internal standards and processes to capture newly created content
Willing to work independently when needed on assignments but also as part of a team on larger tasks
Thrive in a deadline-driven, often short-fuse environment

Qualifications:

Minimum of Associate’s degree in communications or business; required Minimum of 2 years of experience working in marketing systems; required

Preference for experience in the architecture/engineering/construction industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with preference for Deltek Vantagepoint or Vision; required Software savvy with a willingness to learn new platforms quickly Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Excellent grammar/written communications skills Self-motivated and great time management skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work at the direction of a wide variety of personalities in a fast-paced environment Proven success in multi-tasking, prioritizing between competing priorities and adapting to change All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171

Physical requirements:
Work is generally performed in an office or client office setting. Ability to use standard office equipment is required. Travel may be required.
