Position : Material Coordinator
Job Description : Material Coordinator needed in Houston, TX
Local area talent; no per diem; no relocation.
U.S. Citizen required.
Duties include, but not limited to:
-Working with multiple Project Managers for Material Coordination
-Entering in Material Reqs in SAP
– Coordinate daily activities supporting project management team
-Validating material count vs drawings, ensures specs are attached, ensures inspection is address if required
-Ensuring PO’s are sent out timely and Order Acknowledgements are received
-Track and Expedite material
-Ensures material is delivered to right locations
-As needed go to site to check in and validate all material is there and is in good condition
-Once material is received on site, gather all the Packing slips, MTR’s and Receipt for material in SAP
-Handle invoice exceptions for material
Ideal candidate:
-Proactive/Self Starter
-Good Communicator
-Good with Excel and other Microsoft products
-SAP Experience preferred
-Working knowledge of material and equipment in the Natural Gas Industry
-Experience working in a Supply Chain type role
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
