SPM Oil & Gas currently has an opening for a Material Handler located in Fort Worth, TX. As a Material Handler at SPM Oil & Gas, you will be responsible for safely loading, unloading and moving materials within or near the district, service center, yard or work site.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Exhibit and advocate exemplary safety culture at all times
Demonstrate consistency, accountability, reliability and solid work ethic
Exhibit a high degree of integrity at all times
Unload, stock and inventory all deliveries
Assist with new orders, cycle counts and RFID operations
Read and understand SOPs and Risk Assessments
Ability to understand Inventory Control Process
Exhibits equipment and product understanding
Ability to read work orders and follow verbal instruction
Counts, weighs, secures, tags, palettize and stacks materials and maintains accurate records of material movement
Maintains work area, machines and equipment
Operates and inspects industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products
Assists in developing a culture that works to achieve and maintain and accident free workplace
Performs other job duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each
essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative
of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education
degree (GED) with a minimum of one years related experience and/or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,
operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to
write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before
groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to
compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Capability to apply common sense understanding to carry
out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with
problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have
knowledge of general computer operations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must be able to become forklift certified within 30 days. Must be able to
effectively operate hand-held scanner (inventory transaction device) within 30
days. Ability to use identification tools (engraver, metal stamps, paint pen) to
mark product. Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to wear protective footwear and other PPE as required by the department.
