About ATAC
Textron Systems – ATAC provides tactical flight training and adversary aggressor services for U.S. Navy, Marine and Air Force pilots, and is the only organization certified to train the Navy’s TOPGUN program. ATAC operates simultaneously across eight sites and two continents and comprises the world’s largest outsourced civilian, tactical airborne training organization and proudly provides the highest quality live training to Squadrons, Air Wings, and Battle Groups. ATAC was the first civilian organization authorized to train the USAF’s F-22 Raptors.
Job Summary:

Assists the Logistics Supervisor in the supply chain and logistics operations to maximize efficiency and minimize cost of organization’s supply chain.
Provides recommendations on vendor’s qualification and performance to ensure they meet company’s requirements.
Supports project/department milestones/goals while adhering to approved budgets.
Extensive knowledge of department processes which may include; loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, returns, forklift/equipment operation, fabrication, and transportation of goods.
Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
Verify computations against physical count of stock.
Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.

Job Responsibilities:

The Material Coordinator will coordinate the logistics of all aspects of the supply chain which consists of Issue, receipt, delivery, shipping and the return system (for defective or unwanted products).
The Material coordinator tries to minimize shortages and keep costs down.
The position includes logistics managing, purchasing and inventory control.

Primary Objectives:

Safety of the workforce
Cost-wise effective procurement
Efficient movement of all support requirements
Support the maintenance team

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: HS Diploma and 5 years of experience in area of responsibility as an individual contributor.
Aviation Logistics experience desired.
1 to 3 years supervisory experience desired.

ADA Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must be able to climb ladders, raised platforms, climb in and out of aircraft
Must be able to use hand and power tools
Must have the dexterity to handle small parts
Ability to make repetitive movements, such as bending, or squatting.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
