Position : Medical Records Clerk

Job Description : Established Government Facility is in need of a dependable, experienced Medical Records Clerk to join our great team. Through medical knowledge and high confidence, you will be an invaluable asset to our facility!
Offering:

Generous Hourly Rate, $18-$20/hr
Monday-Friday Schedule
Nights and weekends are not required!
Short term and long term assignments are available
Great team environment

Responsibilities:

Processing of Inpatient and Outpatient medical records into an electronic system
Process medical records for retirement to the National Archives
Make data entries into an electronic medical record system
Work the records transfer front desk in order to intake release of information requests, fulfill release of information requests and provide beneficiaries with copies of their electronic health records

Requirements:

Must have EHR/EMR – 1 year
HIPAA Compliance – 1 year
Strong English communication
High School diploma/GED equivalent
Confident in operating MS Office Suite
Ability to perform data entry
