Job Description : Job Summary
The Medical Records Clerk for Assembly, Review, and Control is mainly responsible for the processing of records after discharge. This includes assembling the chart into a permanent folder, reviewing the chart and marking deficiencies, and maintaining the incomplete control log. Other duties include sorting and filing thinned material and shredding hospital documents.
Working Conditions
Controlled working conditions where no apparent hazards are present and protective equipment or clothing is not necessary.
Job Related Physical Activities

Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
Sitting for long periods of time
Able to lift and carry up to 40lbs.
