Position : Mental Health Intake Specialist

Job Description : The primary responsibility is processing daily patients’ new appointment paperwork and policing the system for current appointment paperwork. This position work directly with patients and office staff.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Process patient registration forms & registration updates.
Track new patient set up process across multiple platforms, set by the department
Reach out to patients via phone or email, respond to any patient questions or retrieve any needed information from the patient to set up the appointment
Run eligibility in real time
Run patient copays
Post, as needed, insurance and patient payments to accounts
Confirm all current patient’s paperwork, eligibility and copay amounts are updated 48 hours prior to their appointment.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Knowledge of patient account management system procedures
Ability to respond written and verbal communication professionally.
